DJAM attracts a diverse group of students, each with their own background and goals. Some come from a classical music background and want to explore jazz, while others may have only been playing for six months but are highly motivated to grow musically.
For some, DJAM is a stepping stone to the conservatory. For others, it’s a deliberate choice for a multi-year program—drawn by the unique character, atmosphere, and high quality of education. We welcome both aspiring professionals and passionate amateurs for whom music is an essential part of life.
Our students range in age from 16 to 76—a reflection of the open, inclusive, and inspiring environment DJAM strives to create.
